For the week, Obama has picked up 19 superdelegates (inlcuding 2 who switched from Clinton).
While some superdelegates remain tone deaf or just plain foolish like Steve Ybarra, most have accepted that Obama is the nominee.
Obama is poised to take the lead in superdelegates according to DemConWatch, and he has already taken the lead according to ABC News.
He also picked up support from the American Federation of Government Employees union and Mayor Tom Porter from Portland, OR.
Ramussen has now called the election for Obama and is going to focus on the General Election.
While (sadly) not an endorsement, John Edwards has acknowledged that Obama has a better chance of beating McCain.
"What he brings to the table is the capacity, number one, to unite the Democratic Party," Edwards, a former North Carolina senator, told NBC's "Today" show.
"Number two, to bring in new voters, to bring in people who haven't been involved in the process over a long time and to get people excited about this change."
This is a good step, although a full endorsement would still be welcome.
Edwards ensdorsement would bring additional pledged delegates to the Obama camp. Most of Edwards superdelegates have already made this leap.
